57 year old female with very pale skin. Collagen stimulation not working for me - what are other options?

I’ve had Sylfirm, Ellacore and Sculptra and none of it has shown any improvement. Could I just be a person that doesn’t respond to collagen stimulation ? I’m a 57 year old female with very pale skin.

Sans photos, it is difficult to accurately assess your particular problems. If your issue is poor skin tone, your lack of success with prior treatments may very well relate to barking up the wrong tree. Generally speaking, a series of in-office superficial peels, using high concentrations of glycolic or salicylic acid, Jessner's Solution, or low concentrations of TCA would be a very reasonable approach, especially if accompanied by the regular at-home use of prescription topicals, such as retinoids and or alphahydroxyacid creams or lotions. You would be wise to make sure to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist. Hope this helps and best of luck.
