I had a a bottom left tooth extracted #18 I believe. I had it done about 3 weeks ago and I'm in no pain without any swelling. The last couple of days I noticed what appeared to be some of the graft visible. After some research I've seen that having some of it visible is normal but a lot is not. I would just like to know if I have to much poking through my gum or if it is healing correctly I'm paranoid. Once again I have no pain whatsoever just the visible graft. Thank you to all in Advance.
I had a bone graft done 3 1/2 weeks ago on my front tooth *9. I feel tightness around my gum. I can't smile comfortably. In addition to grafting I had my dental implant removed due to poor positioning all at the same time. What might be the reason my gum feeling tight?
Motrin 800 helps but am taking about every six hours to control it. I also take tramadol in the evening to help. This doesnt feel normal. Ive also started to have some discomfort on my neck and shoulder (same side) and discomfort to center of chest. Cardiac issue ruled out by ED so far (stress test this week). Appt to see oral surgeon In two days. Hoping to hold out until then!! I feel miserable!!
I had a tooth extracted with bone graft 3 weeks ago. The bone graft didn't take so I'm told it needs to be redone and that it needs to be done ASAP before the current would is fully healed. Does this sound normal?
Hello goodnight, I did a bone graft surgery on march 22, Wednesday of this week will be approximately 3 weeks. The bone was harvested from my chin area for the maxillary sinus area of my mouth for 4dental implants. Ever since I did the surgery my lower front teeth has been numb, I can hardly feel them and it's very uncomfortable, I see my doctor tomorrow but I just want to know if this is normal or is it long term.
