Hello, I did chin liposuction 6 months ago. There is currently some unevenness and a dent, but more crucial - the skin didn't shink. I went to the doctor 2 months ago and he claimed that the area looks great and all these issues will go away soon. I spoke with him yesterday, he told me that it is probably the maximum your skin can reach and maybe cosmetic procedures will help. Please advise is there anything I can do to to improve the situation, or is it lost?
A follow up of my previous question: I am 37 years old, I am not over 50. The chin liposuction took place 6 months ago. Now I have this loose skin and unevenness. I am attaching also the photo before the surgery. My doctor says he is not responsible anymore since he can't guarantee how well will the skin sit and tighten. Is it lost or is there is anything that can be done to improve the situation?
6 months post op and i have hanging under chin, thick bits like flab at the sides, unevenness and asymmetry. Saw doc 4 month post op and he said there's no fibrosis, the thickness is inflammation and can take up to a year to heal. He said i could have fat under my muscle affecting the look. I am unhappy looking like this and looked better b4 the op, even less fat. I'm 144lb, no weight gain since op. Please give opinion on if this looks normal, what's wrong with it and what i should do/how to fix. Thx
Hi, i had chin lipo & buccal fat removal 6 months ago, May 2023. I have seen the consultant twice since and he has reasured me that i still have inflammation and its not fibrosis or fat that i have under my chin. It is now looking abit saggy even, the skin isnt saggy but my chin hangs and is not symetrical. I have pinched parts of my chin to show the thickness in pics. I also have b4 pics. Im 144lb, no weight gain since op. Massage daily, im not sure it is all inflammation. What should i do?
I had chin lipo done Aug 19, 2021. From the beginning I noticed one side had more fat left over than the other. Now that Im healed up I see lumps and bumps, unevenness, lines, etc. my surgeon said he can do a revision to take off a little more fat around my jaw line but Im nervous its going to look worse. What would you recommend? Leaving as is? Or doing the revision?
I got chin lipo about 6 months ago. My right side profile appears to have a better result than the left, which has still had a little bulge. Would I benefit from a revision or would coolmini and/or kybella yield similar results without having to undergo surgery again?
Ive had a chin lipo in November last year, and Im still confused about the results. Overall my underchin is much smaller than it used to be, but I still have a kind of bump under my chin that wont go away after 6 months. There has also been almost no improvement in the last few months, despite having weekly massages. My doctor says its just swelling/inflammation and it will go away with time, but Im not sure anymore. Is this still swelling or something else?
I got an under chin neck lift smonths ago and have since had these deep lines. I got a revision at three months and these lines reappeared after the bulk of the inflammation susided. It was mentioned that I was bleeding excessively during surgery and had a hematoma a week later which could have caused this. Am I going to have this for the rest of my life?? I wear a bandaid everyday and has altered my life drastically. The procedure was six months ago.
I had chin liposuction 6 months ago, and I am very self conscious about how my neck looks following the procedure. I am wondering if this is normal - to me the neck area looks lumpy and uneven, with divots of fat missing and crepey skin between the playsmal bands. My doctor is offering to explore fat grafts but keeps insisting it looks normal to her. Would love a second opinion on whether Im being crazy here to think it looks strange. Any suggestions for best fixes?
I had chin lipo done 6 months ago, and I noticed hard lumps on the left side and under my chin. I also have neck bands when I tilt my head. My surgeon said that these will resolve naturally on their own, but I'm getting worried that they are not going away. Are there any other options to make these lumps go away other than wait? If they do not get better, what can I do? Photos attached.
