6 months ago I got buccal fat removal. The surgeon said that cheek lipo would help to remove my jowls and smooth out the jawline with the buccal fat removal. So, he sucked two syringes of fat out of my cheeks. Now I have big dents on my face, and the skin on my lower jaw is loose. I have googled, and there are mixed opinions about whether this is fixable. I'm devastated. Surgeon says the way to fix it is a neck lift that involves removing part of the salivary glands. What do I do?
I just turned 39 but have always had a pretty chubby face even when very thin. I would love to not have the indents in between my cheeks and chin, from the front view. And it seems the fat now petrudes from my side profile view. I would love the profile of my jaw to be straight again. I also have a little double chin I've never had before. Would something like filler help this or fat removal like Buccal/lipo, or maybe a laser, or combo? But with fat removal I worry about creating loose skin
I'm a 54 year old female (menopausal) & I have some sagging skin & small jowls. My face has always been chubby & never lessened as I aged. I was convinced buccal fat removal wld help me to get a slimmer, contoured face & improve jowls, but 2 sep. plastic surgeons I saw both said Im not a good candidate b/c of my sagginess & removal wld make it sag more & my skin wld just hang. Also said to remove it wouldnt have noticable effect in my cheek size. Is this correct?
I am a 26F and I've always struggled with a heavy lower face/jowl area. I have a pretty flat face with low cheekbones and the only structure I have is my jaw. However, I have this excess fat/skin in the bottom half of my face that is quite prominent. I have tied masseter box, cheek filler, Morpheus, weight loss to reduce this part of my face but no luck. If I take my fingers and pull the skin my skin back, I see my desired results. I really want to discuss a more permanent solution.
Hi! So I have a chubby round-ish face, my mother also has it, and a weak chin. My mother is now 55 and almost has no wrinkles, but has jowls, thats bothering her. I am working as a model, and having a more angular face would benefit me for my work. But I dont want it to age badly. Will getting buccal fat removal at 25 make my jowls worse in the future, or will it make that place less saggy? Also, does a chin implant help that? Sorry for asking so many questions.
Wondering if I might be a good candidate for buccal fat removal. I've always hated my chipmunk cheeks and feel like it makes my face look like I have jowls. Are there any surgeons in Toronto or Halifax that someone can recommend ?
I have quite heavy, saggy lower cheeks and they take up a lot of space inside mouth and get in way when I am chewing. There are bite marks on the inside of my mouth. I have heard buccal fat removal is aging but I feel having fat lower cheeks is more aging on me and is starting to cause jowling because I also have a weak jawline which isn't strong enough to support my lower cheeks. The photo on left is my face normally and the right is me sucking in my cheeks. What is the best procedure for me?
