Young female patients in their early 20s with fullness in the lower anterior cheeks may mistake this for jowling, as it makes the face look heavy and the jawline undefined. Technically, jowling is an accumulation of skin and fat projecting below the jawline. At age 25, as seen in the pictures, there is no evidence of jowling. However, an enlarged buccal fat pad can create fullness in the lower anterior cheeks, where jowls may form in the future, making the face appear chubbier and less defined. In such cases, buccal fat removal can permanently correct these issues, making the face look thinner and defining the jawline by removing the buccal fat pad.

Hi there! I do not believe this is buccal fat, rather jowl fat. I recommend liposuction to the jaw for a more defined jawline and sharpness.
