Hi! I'm considering buccal fat removal -- has been recommended by a few different plastic surgeons as I'm actually trying to get a better jawline. At first, I was totally opposed to buccal fat removal but I read about it more and honestly think it could be helpful for my face -- my cheeks are super heavy and honestly sagging, causing early jowls. I would probably be all in if I didn't have dimples!!! Any chance it could impact my dimples?
I am wondering how I can surgically remove my upper cheek dimples which I've heard been called Indian dimples. I understand that there isn't a common procedure to do this but I feel like there must be a way to detach the muscle from the skin with a simple surgery so I can smile confidently. These dimples have made me painfully self conscious for years and having them removed would change my life.
I would like to get dimpleplasty and buccal fat removal done at the same time but was told that if done at the same time, the likelihood of the dimples staying is decreased. Is this true? If so, why? If fat is removed from the cheeks, doesn't that help the dimples stay compared to if my cheeks are full? I have to travel from out of town to see the surgeon I like, so going twice is not ideal but I would like to hear experts' opinions on this. Any insight would be helpful, thank you.
I love how she's sculpted but still youthful! I also love her dimples and jawline lol. I feel like I have some problems with my double chin and cheek fat and marionette lines(which are usually more visible in brighter light). I'm interested in permanent solutions, so filler and Botox aren't preferred.
My cheek bones are starting to looking contoured which I love. Some days it looks way smaller and some days the swelling comes back. Is this normal for the swelling to be up and down? Also cheek dimples have started to form. Theyre there basically but you cant see them as much because of the swelling. Ive never had dimples I love dimples but I just would like and opinion as to how they formed and also some help with the swelling.
I know dimples have to do with a short cheek muscles gap or something of that sort; I'm just curious as to If the fat removal process will take my dimples away completely or if they would make them appear deeper because of less fat pockets.
