Great question!  Depending on your goals, a buccal lipectomy can help improve your facial shape by shrinking down the lower cheek region.  By doing this, the jawline and the cheeks become more defined and contoured.  Another treatment to think about is Botox to the posterior jawline as this will also help slim the face from a more squared to a more oval appearance on the frontal views.  However, it is always best to have an in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon so that your goals are reviewed and the best treatment recommended.

Yes! You appear to be a good candidate. There are so many celebrities doing this because it is unnoticable even the day of surgery. I can't comment on whether Dove had it done but I would say even after the procedure you might not have as defined a midface as her but certainly buccal fat removal would get you significant improvement and more definition in the midface! Hello!  There are a few options to get that sculpted look.  One would be buccal fat pad removal which can be done in the office under numbing medication.  Another option would be botox to the masseter muscles which would help the muscle shrink to get you that V line.
