I had surgery 6 months ago to reduce from 800cc to 550. I was told my breasts would be lifted and my nipples would be a bit higher but the same size. I absolutely loved my breasts and nipples, they were just too heavy. My nipple pigmentation has decreased. I had open wounds from an infection that developed that I was initially told to use neosporin for so my scars are prominent. Surgeon told me pigment will come back & still waiting. Can my breasts be improved?
I had this procedure over 10 years ago and have always had pain in my breast. A lump appeared and grew large so I went to the doctors and have been referred to have it checked. But yesterday I felt a sharp pain in my breast and found a sharp object peircing my skin and poking out. Ive been to a and e or have given me antibiotics as I have a bad infection and Ive been referred to a breast specialist. But surely this should not have happened?
I had this procedure in Jan, and overall my healing went very well. I was briefly on antibiotics due to a POSSIBLE infection but I have since finish that prescription and over all I feel fine. The redness in my left breast however (the one which has the implant & lift), hasn't been reduced by much even in these 2 months - right was implant only. What I want to know is if this could in any way be normal? I have an appointment in 2 weeks & would prefer not to have to travel if not necessary.
I have a breast lift and implants on the 7th of Jan no issues during or after surgery until this point I see my surgeon on the 18th April but worried that the stitches that haven't dissolved are going infected they have started getting rather red looking and a bit painful
I cleaned and put gauze on it . Is this normal? Since then I have made a appt to go see my doctor just to get it checked out . Will it now take longer to scab back over ? Is there now a risk of infection since the scab came off ?
I had breast augmentation/lift 11 weeks ago. The incisions keep re-opening. I also have redness and tenderness around my nipples and have had a few stitch abscess removed in that area. My doctor says Im just sensitive to the stitches and nothing is a major concern and could take up to a year to heal.Is this something I should be concerned about? Do my breasts look infected? Will my scars be more evident since they keep re-opening?
I had a lift with 200 cc saline implant 15 days ago. I visited my PS yesterday bc I had concerns of fluid. He said I was fine. Did not remove my tape. Today, I noticed very gross yellow puss leaking through tape. Remove it to find raw skin. And 2 clear stitches poking out. PS didn't seem concerned, told me to clean and dry it. He also said to grab stitches with tweezers and pull and clip. I clipped but when I tried to remove them they were stuck and I began to bleed, no antibiotics. What 2do??
I am 11 days post op of my breast lift with implants. The tape was removed a few days after. They caused many blisters. I have been putting neosporin on them and cover with gauze. However, concerned about the green brown ones. Nothing looks infected but seeking other advice here.
I had lollypop lift aug 5th 300cc implant sub muscular My steri strips are making my skin itchy and sometimes tingling Is it an infection starting ? Or jus wound healing ? Iv no drainage or fever Also how long do you recommend wer ring steri strips ? I changed them myself 1 week post op an was told to let these ones fall off when they do should I put new ones on ?
3 weeks postop BL with aug. I awoke this morning with a damp bra. Upon further investigation the vertical breast incision was opening and leaking a foul smelling (smell reminded me of smelly sebum), yellow fluid. I've been gently cleansing with Hibiclens at the end of my daily showers, use a freshly cleaned towel everytime, and allow the tape on incisions to dry completely. I thought I was being diligent with my routine to prevent an infection. Is this cause for concern? Thank you kindly.
