I had this procedure over 10 years ago and have always had pain in my breast. A lump appeared and grew large so I went to the doctors and have been referred to have it checked. But yesterday I felt a sharp pain in my breast and found a sharp object peircing my skin and poking out. I’ve been to a and e or have given me antibiotics as I have a bad infection and I’ve been referred to a breast specialist. But surely this should not have happened?

Immediate radiation on the fresh scar has shown to decrease the risk of keloids, especially in those that make large keloids. Typically, the radiations treatments will be from 3-5 days, depending upon the radiation oncologist. Yes, it is done.
I would suggest doing a lift with or without small implants. don't try to fix the excess skin and wideness with just implants for you will have larger and still sagging breasts. Your nipples are in the correct position so the lower incision and perhaps a vertical incision will be needed.
