Surgery was 10 weeks ago. About a month ago I noticed a lump/hard spot on my right breast to the left of my areola. I have a similar hard area on the other side but it's smaller. I went in 5 days ago for assessment. I seen the PA and after feeling it she said it was normal scar tissue. She said massaging will help break it up. This morning when I woke up it was very painful. The whole area area it hurts. Just pushing on my upper breast is painful. Is this normal?
I had breast lift with 350cc silicone implant on both left and right breast. Two weeks ago I posted about my concern regarding my right breast dimple. My plastic surgeon recommended an ultrasound, which we did and verified there were no abnormalities and it looked normal in his professional opinion. Will this dimple go away? I am not seeing any changes in the past 2 weeks. I am convinced it is scar tissue as I can feel a prominent bump, but both the ultrasound doctor and plastic surgeon conclude that its normal (?). Now what? Wait?
I have some concerns and my Dr says they will be fine. Weird cone pointy shape Skin flaps on sides No cleavage almost as if boobs are connected where cleavage would be No upper pole fullness (this was by far he most important thing to me) They just look weird to me overall Anchor lift with 700cc HP silicone
I had this procedure in Jan, and overall my healing went very well. I was briefly on antibiotics due to a POSSIBLE infection but I have since finish that prescription and over all I feel fine. The redness in my left breast however (the one which has the implant & lift), hasn't been reduced by much even in these 2 months - right was implant only. What I want to know is if this could in any way be normal? I have an appointment in 2 weeks & would prefer not to have to travel if not necessary.
Have my breast implants bottomed out i am 7 weeks post op , I had a lift and implant with 315 cc implant, I feel my implant has dropped and am unhappy with the over all look, please advise
HI, I got an anchor breast lift with 380cc saline implants 2 month ago and both of my breast are still red and throbbing pain sometimes. I never have a fever and took antibiotic for the first week after surgery . How can I detect if this is an infection or just normal recovery from the breast implants? Thanks
10 weeks post op breast lift/augmentation & the left is perfect but the right hasnt dropped yet and is much firmer. Is this normal or is it possibly capsular contracture? Mesh was used and on the same breast there is hardness underneath that feels like scar tissue. Could these two be related?
The nurse practitioner removed a few stitches 2 weeks ago. She did leave a small opening on my right breast after she removed the stitches but it healed after about a week. But now that same area has opened up & is discharging which looks like pus. After inspecting the area I found another stitch wanting to come out. I was able to cut the stitch & disinfected the area. Will this cause any issues with scarring & will it heal ok?
