Is it normal for a lump/hard spot on breast after lift (also galaflex and under muscle implants) to be painful after massage?

Surgery was 10 weeks ago. About a month ago I noticed a lump/hard spot on my right breast to the left of my areola. I have a similar hard area on the other side but it's smaller. I went in 5 days ago for assessment. I seen the PA and after feeling it she said it was normal scar tissue. She said massaging will help break it up. This morning when I woke up it was very painful. The whole area area it hurts. Just pushing on my upper breast is painful. Is this normal?
