I have had my smooth silicone implants for 5 years. I have been experiencing enlarged lymph nodes in my neck, behind my ear down my neck to the collar bone, about 4 of them from pea sized to the size of a quarter they have persisted after a round of steroids. Is this related to my implants or BII. The implants do not feel or look abnormal from that I can see. Should I see a plastic surgeon? Picture is before 2 more nodes appeared
MRI shows possible extracapsular rupture of my 8 year old textured Allergan biocell implants (the recalled type). MRI also shows my lymph nodes are inflamed possibly due to being silicone laden or just because I just got the COVID vaccine. I know I need to replace these implants soon but is surgery an emergency or can I wait one more month? I have one doctor who can do surgery in next few weeks but another doctors who I prefer but who has no have availability til next month. Who do i go with?
I just learned I have an implant rupture on the side of my left breast and under my arm pit axillary in my lymph nodes and I have been having symptoms since the end of June which are anxiety, panic attacks and nausea. I am scheduled to take implants out February 1st. Am I experiencing breast illness from this rupture? Pleas I am desperate for answers. I had my blood drawn I am completely healthy. I have an MRI in a phew days. I am so scared and riddled with anxiety please does anyone know why.
I have 22 year old saline implants under the muscle. I have had swollen painful lymph nodes for almost 2 years in the left axillae. When you physicians remove the implant, do the lymph nodes stop swelling? Or, does the capsule need to be removed to alleviate symptoms? I am struggling between removing the implant vs with or without the capsule. Both implants are intact. The left has a slight contracture with chronic pain on that side. All sonograms, ultrasound and lab work negative.
Both PIP extra-capsular and removed with caps. Prominent silicone lymph nodes left in both sides and around ribs when pathology states acute inflammation. Can you see the silicone in my rib cage area in the MRI scans? And what would you do with it as it feels stuck and Im still no better. Also would you remove prominent silicone lymph nodes? I also would like to know what all that stuff is in my collar bone area and armpits please. Thanks.
15th of Jan I had breast implant removal surgery. There were an extracapsular rupture and silicone lymphadenopathy in my right armpit. The surgeon didn't take the results under consideration. He just took the impants out leaving the capsules. 4 weeks after the surgery: painkilers, pain in my armpit, my right breast feels hard on one side. I have silicone in 5 lymph glands. But the other doctor wants to wait 3 months. Can the capsule still be removed? What if I decide to remove all 5 lymph nodes?
Under the muscle, transauxilary ,silicone gel implants They were in for one year. I began experiencing extreme fatigue , swollen lymph nodes shooting pain. The mri showed irregularities but nothing was certain. The doctor said that simple removal of the implant through the underarm was all that he would recommend to do at this time. It has been 4 weeks now,i feel a lot better , still am very tired sometimes. Is there some way to know what is going on in my body without breaking the bank?
62 years old. Implants placed 20 years ago, saline, on top of muscle. Drained by needle 1& 1/2 years ago. Enlarged lymph nodes under arm 2 months ago. Sac and scar tissue/encapsulated area removed 3 days ago. I chose to not get another implant or breast lift. I have a drain in each breast. Of course the breast appears fairly flat right now. Will the breast eventually fill in with fat tissue? If so, how long would it normally take? Thank you!
Path report show; Dense fibroconnective tissue w focal foreign body granuloma. Seroma fluid both breast, inflammatory cells, red cells and histiocytes. IGE went down after implants removed, but back up shortly after caps removed. Stirred up something? 750 <114. During implantation WBC and neutrophils elevated. Dropped after caps removed. Now breasts are swollen, painful etc. Dr's are stumped. Ultrasound; 3 seroma, numerous cysts & lymph nodes. Skin rashes for years got better after explant.
24 yrs ago, when i was 29, I had DOW implants that were both ruptured after a car accident. They were not removed for six years. At 36 when they were taken out the scar capsule was removed and i had saline implants put in. Needless to say-I have several granulomas. One month ago I had my saline implants removed with a lift. The doctor said I had minimal scar tissue so he did not remove it. I now have a new enlarged hard lump in lymph under arm. Could this be a granuloma from not removing scar tissue?
