Unfortunately I developed PAH on my abdomen after coolsculpting treatment done in June. In addition, due to weight loss I want to do lipofilling of the breasts. As I am not sure when my PAH is stable enough to operate on, I would like to know if I can safely go ahead with lipofilling as I don't want that to be put on hold due to PAH. Probably I would need to wear a compression garment over my PAH area as my lower back and flanks will be the donor area. Or would you recommend otherwise?
Can you rest a pillow or a blankets on your chest during the first few days after a fat transfer to the breast? How do you know how much pressure is too much pressure that might kill the fat? Why do some surgeons require you to wear a compression bra in order to prevent the transferred fat from dislodging, while other surgeons advise against wearing any type of compression bras? How much compression is too much compression for the breasts after fat transfer? Can you reach your arm eye level?
Hi! I really want to get liposuction & put the fat into my breasts and my hip dips. I would like to get this done during the same procedure to save me from recovering twice. Is that possible and fine to do so? If not, how long do I have to wait in between procedures? My job requires me to show off my body and while its not physically demanding, I cant rock up in a compression garment. How long do you have to wear it for 24/7? Some say 2 weeks, others say 3 months
Hi! Curious about the procedure, have not contacted surgeons about this yet. Are compression garments required for the breast after fat transfer? Or just the areas where liposuction from performed require compression garments? How long are garments typically worn?
4 years ago i had a breast lift and my breasts became pointy in a way i dont like. My dr recommended i get a fat transfer to improve the shape. While explaining the recovery, she said i will wear the same compression bra i wore after my breast lift surgery. I'm confused..won't doing that cause the fat to die?
Hi! I'm scheduled for a breast fat transfer next month. I am slender (5'6, 116 pounds), but the plastic surgeon thought he could harvest enough fat from my inner and outer thighs for the transfer to breast. The thing that surprised me was he said I won't need to wear compression on my thighs after the liposuction procedure. He said the seams from compression garments can cause indents or irregularities. Is this unusual advice or pretty typical? I had expected compression.
I had fat transfer from my back (love handles) and stomach, to my chest. Ive worn a compression garment all around my waist (from low chest to my hips), where the fat was taken from. What does the compression garment do and what are the benefits of continuing using it (as recommended by my surgeon)? Is it better to have It very tight or could this lead to complications? Im just very curious on what this compression garment does.
So my question is regarding being able to perform butt workouts a week after I had a fat transfer to my breasts done. Between the doctor having taken fat from around my Butt, to this compression garment constricting my Butt, it's getting flat. If I make sure not to get my heart rate up, can I do this without adversely affecting my fat transfer ?
