Is it possible to have a fat transfer to the hips and breasts done at the same time?

Hi! I really want to get liposuction & put the fat into my breasts and my hip dips. I would like to get this done during the same procedure to save me from recovering twice. Is that possible and fine to do so? If not, how long do I have to wait in between procedures? My job requires me to show off my body and while it’s not physically demanding, I can’t rock up in a compression garment. How long do you have to wear it for 24/7? Some say 2 weeks, others say 3 months…

Thank you for your query. You can certainly have autologous fat transfer to both your hip dips and breasts at the same time as your liposuction, as long as there is enough fat available. Compression garments are not necessary 24/7, although preferable for a couple of weeks (in the areas of liposuction). Yes, you can have fat transfer to your breasts and hips at the same time.  The length of time in the compression garment depends on a few things that are specific to each person's anatomy and healing process.  In my practice, most people are able to stop wearing the garments 24/7 after 3 weeks.  Talk to your surgeon about your specific situation.  Best of luck!

I understand your concern. Generally speaking, it should be possible to get fat transfer to two areas at the same time. It is best however that you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine whether you can have several aesthetic surgeries in one session, as this would depend on various factors including but not limited to your general health condition, the type of anesthesia that will be used, and the type of surgeries that will be performed among others.

Fat transfers can be done simultaneously to the hips and breasts.  Usually the patient wears a compressive garment over the donor site for about 3-4 weeks.

Yes, both transfers can be done at the same time. You will need to wear compression up to 3 months. For the first two weeks, you will wear it all the time except to shower and wash the garment.
