I am 48 and had breast augumentation just over a year ago. I didn't get to do the rice test as my surgery was only a few weeks away from my consultation so I went with the advice of my surgeon. But also had lost quite alot of weight and did have large breasts before hand. He told me I didn't need a uplift?. The surgery went ahead and things was fine until the swelling started to go down then I noticed loose skin and my breasts falls away from the implant. Causing still sagging and sore breasts.
I'm five years post op. I've developed a red mark on my nipple it's sore to touch and and feels raised like welt. It has no discharge flakiness and is not inverted. I've booked a drs appointment but would appreciate any advice on where to go with this in terms of an MRI ect it's a mentor textured gummy implant
My breast augmentation & rhinoplasty is 4 days away. I'm starting to feel a little sick with a sore throat, I know I'm supposed to quit certain meds for two weeks leading up to the surgery. The list I was given of meds to avoid doesn't show Amoxicillin, is that harmful before surgery? Last thing I want is to feel sick during my recovery.
I had a breast augmentation 5 months ago, over the muscle. I still find it difficult to sleep and wake up feeling achey, as if I have pulled pectoral muscles. The pain subsides as the day goes on but I am still getting the odd sharp and shooting pain throughout the day. I got 315cc, from a cup to c/d cup. I was wondering if this is something I should worry about as I thought 5 months on it wouldnt still be painful?
I received a breast augmentation about 8 months ago and did have a complication. I developed a hematoma in my right breast a couple days after surgery and the implantwas immediately replaced. My healing has been pretty normal ever since with the expected soreness, but also a little more tingling and numbness around the nipple. That seemed to fade away, but now I will suddenly get bursts of shooting, sharp pain in both nipples. Is that normal? What could that be?
However, I still get sore, e.g. after carrying shopping bags and using my handbag. I'm always careful and still not exercising or raising my arms much. Could carrying moderate weight jeopardise my results? I'm not in pain, more discomfort and it's gone the next day. I am hoping this is normal esp after exertion and on the dominant side. Am I overdoing it? When will this fade? No other symptoms - love my results.
I had breast augmentation 7 months ago and its been relatively easy as far as pain except I get soreness still under my right breast when wearing a bra. Its now been over a week that it hurts despite not wearing a bra. My right breast was much smaller than my left and has given me the most trouble. Is it normal to still have this pain? I did just see my dr for a follow up but was feeling fine. He said everything looked well. I also have pain the wraps around into my back muscle.
I have a follow-up appointment scheduled, but I am worried and wanted to seek advice, any idea what is going on here (ex: bottoming out, still working its way out, etc.)? Implant / person details 120-125 lbs Mentor 350 ccs L+R Post op: 7mos Left breast: considerably lower and; larger, a bit sore, incision is above fold, and feels like its on a rib Right breast: shrimpy, nipple is lower, more upper pole fullnes

Is it normal to experience pain around the chest muscle / sore chest muscles even years after surgery? The breasts aren't hard or sensitive to touch but the muscle itself is hurting.. breast augmentation in September 2020, dual plane below the muscle. This occurs especially after I've been sleeping on my side.
