Is this breast augmentation (intramuscular) soreness 8 months post-op normal? (Photos)

Question

Hi I'm 8 mo. PO of intramuscular breast augmentation an still have soreness towards the lower half of mostly my left side. Is this still normal? I know I always feel more tender if i sleep without a bra on. Or wear an outfit wth no bra all day. Could this be why? Am I suppose wear a bra 24 hrs a day?

At 8 months post op most patients have returned to their normal activities and do not experience soreness. The symptoms you describe may be related to the size of the implants and the weight pulling on the breast.  I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your surgeon.

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

You may still have some soreness especially with the large breast size you now have. No, do not sleep in a bra.  Please discuss this with your surgeon.
