Brazilian Butt Lift + Heart Condition Q&A

I recently had my medical done in order to recieve clearance for a brazilian butt lift procedure . A small Ventricular septal defect was found in my heart . I have no restrictions nor the need for medication . I was also given the clearance to proceed with the surgery by the cardiologist in canada. But the Anesthesiologist in Colombia decided I wasn't a good candidate for the procedure. Could someone explain to me what might be the reason behind the difference in opinion?any info helps!

I had a silent heart attack in Feb 2023. The qualifying factor of the NSTEMI was elevated troponin levels. My EKG, chest xray, echocardiogram, and angiogram were ALL NORMAL. It was a fluke - possibly a coronary spasm (my dr said). My BBL surgery was recently cancelled because of this prior incident despite PCP clearance. I DO NOT have heart disease or any other risk factors. Can I find another dr to do it or will I be rejected by everyone?

If I have a heart condition will my ekg probably be abnormal or make me not get cleared for surgery? I have a heart condition by the name of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. My cardiologist has already approved me for the surgery but my surgeon is saying I'll need blood work and an ekg done. I'm just nervous because I'm not sure if me having a heart condition will make me fail the ekg approval for surgery or anything even though I do get them regularly.

Hi there! I have been looking into getting a BBL for a few years but I was born with a congenital heart condition (I am now a healthy 26 year old). I knew I would have to get my cardiologists' approval so I have gone through the process of doing tests and my cardiologist concluded that it would be okay for me if there was a cardiac anaesthetist and the surgery was performed in a facility with ICU on-site. I am wondering if that is something that any doctors can provide
