Dear Intelligent816,as long as you get a clearance from your cardiologist, you might be a candidate for a surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Hello. Great question. In order to be a possible candidate, you will need to get medical clearance from your physician. When you have completed that portion, I will suggest visiting a board certified plastic surgeon for a detailed examination.
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well. Please talk to your cardiologist to see if you are clear for plastic surgery and then I suggest you to book a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss the best options for your goals.Hope this is helpful. Good luck :)
It is best to be safe. Most PS will recommend that you see a cardiologist for clearance for surgery. If the cardiologist says no, then it is not safe to go forward. If the cardiologist says yes (they may even give recommendations on how to optimize your situation), then you should be good to go. I get clearance on every patient that has any medical conditions such as diabetes or high blood pressure etc just to be safe AND all patients over the age of 45 (as medical problems can be undiagnosed at this age).
you should still be able to have a BBL. You may want to ask your internist or cardiologist for medical clearance. You could explain that during the procedure you may receive a fairly high dose of a drug called epinephrine. The epinephrine affect is usually fairly subtle and I do not anticipate it would be an issue for you. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
Whether you are a good candidate for BBL or any other surgery is determined by your primary care physician and cardiologist. If you are a good candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), the optimal outcomes are achieved with: 1) use of VASER liposuction to harvest the fat, 2) a closed looped system such as Puregraft to process the fat, and 3) strategic micro-packet transplant technique. These three processes have demonstrated over 95% fat graft take. This means that your results will be stable as long as you maintain your weight. As an official VASER trainer, I am routinely referred unhappy BBL patients. One of the most common reasons for disgruntled BBL patients is that patients are not able to accurately communicate their desired buttocks goals to their surgeons. A buttocks assessment tool can be an invaluable tool to communicate to your surgeon the exact buttocks size and shape you are desiring. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a BBL specialist can help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully,Arian Mowlavi MD,FACSRealself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee
Yes absolutely there are several things that can be done to dramatically enhance the safety of a BBL. #1 is to not overinject. Overfilling with fat or promising a super high number isn't safe. #2 is to never inject from the "bottom up" which avoids injuring the vessels. #3 is only using pur...
There is no limit, but we average between 1-1.5L per cheek. If you are a good candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), the optimal outcomes are achieved with: 1) use of VASER liposuction to harvest the fat, 2) a closed looped system such as Puregraft to process the fat, and 3) strategic...
You raise an excellent topic. Personally I believe the layer of tissue between the gluteal muscle and skin is thin and in reality too thin to give impressive BBL results without grafting any fat into the underlying muscle layer. Of course an attempt should always be made to be as safe as ...
