I have a muscle protruding on forehead very Bad and I am nervous that the Botox will make it worse. I have had Botox twice but I dont really remember if it was this bad then, the last time was over and year and half ago. Maybe the Botox caused this muscle issue? I have been told it will just worse over time but I dont want the Botox to make it worse. I am extremely self concious and any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have random swelling that appeared on both eyebrows, started with the left and progressed to the right and now it appears that both eyebrows are protruding. Ive been to several plastic surgeons for evaluations but still not sure what the cause/problem is and had blood work done that came out normal. What could be some possible causes of this and could Botox help?
One year ago, I had Botox injected into my forehead (upper + lower), plus a small injection of Voluma into a scar. A year later, I had Botox injected againjust in the upper forehead. A week later (3 weeks ago), I developed strange indentations. I went back to the doctor who treated me; she said it was most likely muscular, but Im wondering if the residual Voluma from a year ago got pushed up from the Botox since the protrusion is in the same location. What can I do now? My forehead looks crazy
Just curious if this will make the under chin area hang lower, or does it make it tighter, lifted like your pulling your tongue up to cause a flat appearance. I just had it done 5 days ago & it bruised at the crease of neck/chin & it looks more puffy than it used to. But it al.ost feels like the muscles are tight but protruding if that makes any sense.
I suspect a hyperactive mentalis muscle is the cause. When I smile, I get a witches chin although my chin is small. Can Botox lessen the severity? When Im relaxed, my chin looks receded although its not (based on x-rays, my mandible is too far forward although no dental underbite). Can Botox make the muscle not be shifted downwards when I smile?
Yesterday I got 15 units of botox injected on both sides of my face for help with clenching and to reduce the size of the masseter. I was advised to get 25 units, but since it was my first time with botox I got less. When i clench my teeth I am noticing that it is protruding a lot more than it used to and I wanted to know if this was normal. Before botox I would gain a little width, but no where near this much and no where near as defined. It's a visible strip of muscle on my face. I'm worried!
