Botox in chin: I have a deep labiomental fold with a protruding bottom lip. (Photos)

I suspect a hyperactive mentalis muscle is the cause. When I smile, I get a witches chin although my chin is small. Can Botox lessen the severity? When I’m relaxed, my chin looks receded although it’s not (based on x-rays, my mandible is too far forward although no dental underbite). Can Botox make the muscle not be shifted downwards when I smile?

Answer: You could consider having a small amount of Botox injected into the mentalis muscle.
