A formal evaluation would be needed to determine what's best. Many of my patients try to avoid surgery, so we perform a non-surgical chin augmentation treatment with injectable fillers. Fillers like Radiesse, Voluma, BellaFill as well as Sculptra are injected into the area, improving the overall appearance of the lower face and balancing the jaw and lip harmony. We use cannula injections to meticulously contour and project the chin, soften the chin along the jawline and improve the chin crease.I suggest getting a consultation with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist and facial sculpting expert; our practice is located right here in Los Angeles. A profile photo is needed to give better recommendations. If you feel that your chin is somewhat large or protruding, there are several options to achieve a small chin.
It's a little difficult to give specific recommendations for your chin without more pictures and an in-person physical examination. Botox/neurotoxins wouldn't do much for this situation. Given that you are concerned with it being protruded or rounded, I'd be hesitant to recommend fillers unless your side profile appears retruded/set back. Fillers along the jowl region would square off the jaw, taking away some of the rounded appearance, but masculinizing the appearance which may not be desirable. If you have a lot of bony excess, a surgical procedure to shave off some of that may be warranted. If there are other skeletal or dental issues, you may require the assistance of a maxillofacial surgeon to avoid issues with dentition when undergoing a setback of the jaw.
Hi! I would consider trying some botox to your chin/mentalis muscle to see if that helps you achieve what you are looking for. It is hard to give a full assessment without side photos or dynamic photos and also not knowing exactly what you are bothered by but since botox is temporary, you could always try it out.
Botox to the chin does not help with shape or projection. It is used to help those with the "orange peel" texture when the chin muscle is activated. Fillers are a better option for sculpting the chin and jawline.
Hello. I don't think Botox would do much for your chin. Fillers at the chin or surrounding areas tend to be popular. These can easily be done in clinic and the results show within 1-2 weeks. Hope this helps.
There are many things you can do to treat the saginess around your eyes . Non invasive less downtime options such as fillers (Belotero, Juvederm Volbella), lasers (Moxi/Halo/Fraxel/CO2) can all help give some improvement. Accutite can often be used or stronger lasers like erbium or co2 spo...
Hi! Several factors could be influencing the longevity of your Botox injections. Dilution of Botox: While it's possible that the Botox solution is being diluted more than usual, reputable practitioners typically follow standardized protocols to ensure efficacy. The dilution ratio, however, can...
Yes, you can have an allergy test performed to see if you are allergic to Botox. You may want to explore other neuromodulators to see if you have the same reaction. Each is formulated a bit differently. Those on the market include Dysport, Jueveau, Xeomin, and Daxxify.
