What you notice is not bone protrusion but rather a prominent muscle called corrugator supercilii. In fact, continued treatment with Botox or another neuromodulator into that muscle would be the best course of action as the muscle mass diminishes with recurrent neuromodulator treatments just like the biceps muscle gets smaller when one stops exercising. Best wishes,
It doesn’t look like the bone is protruding; it's a muscle. You may be able to treat this area with Botox, which would help smooth your forehead. See your doctor for an in-person evaluation.
Thank you for sharing your experience and for your inquiry. It is difficult to say exactly what is happening without seeing your before pictures and seeing your current movement. It could be that your glabella may need more botox, or your frontalis is atrophying do to the neuromodulator working, or that maybe that is your native bony structure. There are several solutions to your concern either with more botox or adding filler to contour. We would be more than happy to have you come in for a consult.
We do not have your before pictures for comparison. The function of the Botox is to relax the muscle and does not add volume to make bone bigger. Please see your injector to comp[are before and after pictures.
What you are seeing is the left corrugator muscle that should have been injected at the time of treatment and can be done now and it will smooth out
Just as a matter of factly, your eyebrows did not become more protruding because of Botox. it's just that your forehead has become considerably smoother and you're seeing this more clearly. I recommend that my patients smooth out or round out their foreheads with the use of autologous fat grafting. It produces natural and near permanent results. Good luck from New York City
Hey there - this can happen with shrinkage of the frontalis muscle due to botox. If you decided botox didnt help too much it should reverse with time. If you prefer to keep going with botox it is possible to use filler in the forehead but it must be done carefully so see an experienced injector for this.
A proper Botox lip flip treatment will turn the outer corners of the upper lip up more so that more of the pink of the lip is showing. It is a subtle change that is often combined with fillers to help shape the lips. The final results are seen two weeks after treatment and the effects will...
Botox works by relaxing dynamic muscles that cause wrinkles, so that they stop contracting and folding your skin. Without constant contraction, the muscle does atrophy over time, just as your biceps would atrophy if you didn’t exercise them regularly. However, long term studies have shown that t...
Thank you for your question. Though it is hard to tell from the images, botox/filler or a combination of the two may be beneficial in your case. I would recommend an in-person consultation with a board certified facial plastic surgeon who will be able to better advice. I hope this helps!
