Ive had Botox and it has worked great on my forehead and crows feet however not great on my glabella lines. Been back for two top ups and my provider wont give me any more and also wont give me filler as my glabella lines only have clear lines when Im outside in bright sunlight. She has advised to keep coming back for regular appointments and over time the glabella will relax. Im very frustrated as it looks great indoors but not outdoors. Do I continue with regular appointments?
This photo is after Botox touch ups. The injector is afraid to isolate the crows feet traveling down the cheek because she fears I will lose cheek movement and have a funny smile. The lines traveling down my cheeks are the ones I would like eliminated the most, while the crows feet closer to my eyes were not bothersome to me. Any suggestions to pass on to her? Should I try filler instead of Botox? Thanks!
On average how long will it take for the muscle to regrow normal? I have had Botox injections around my crows feet by board certified doctor for over 2-3yrs. After this last injection 3 weeks ago (10 units each side). I have noticed unwanted muscle atrophy in my upper cheeks. It has created a deep line on my mid cheek and looks more defined when I smile. I have NEVER had this line before. I am 24 years old and was given 50 units (repeatedly every 4-5 months). Has the Botox migrated to my cheeks because too many units? Will this line go away?
I have had Botox for a few years and love it. I have changed my location. I have a new person doing Botox, my problem is I have always maintained 22-24 units that has been perfect and on one occasion 28 units. Which was great as well. My problem is this, my new person that is doing Botox has guessed 39 units I was shocked, I told her no.
Hi, I am 44 yrs old with hooded eyes, and one brow is lower than the other. I really want to get Botox for my 11s and crows feet but Im afraid its going to make my brows droop more. I saw a plastic surgeon awhile ago who said Im not a candidate for forehead Botox because it can make the drooping worse I should go for a brow lift . Not quite ready for a brow lift and Im fine with not getting Botox in my forehead but are the other areas safe ?
Im 48 years old. I get Botox for crows feet and also had filler in the apples of my cheeks. I have a history of melasma but seem to have that fairly under control. Fraxel seems to worsen my melasma so I would like to avoid that.
Had Botox 11/1/23 and 1/24/24. (7.5 units each time/ eye). Terrible cheek drop happened a week after second dose. It's been 5 months and little to no improvement. Got second opinion and she said zygomaticus affected and 3-6 months (or more bc of double dose). Will this go away? Cheek bone area is so flat and cheeks are like balls near nasolabial folds. Dark lines under eyes. No filler in face only lips. Shelving on cheeks and the cheek won't lift past the shelf. Please help
Does this look like something to be concerned about? I had Botox in my crows feet as Ive had many times in the past but this time it instantly puffed up. Picture was taken shortly after procedure (same day). Worried after readying online about vascular occlusion that maybe I need to see a different type of doctor now. Or is this just a bruise. Ive been taking arnica tablets.
