I have large shoulders, biceps, and calves. I read that Botox can be a good means to reduce their size, but I am struggling to find a trustworthy doctor to go to. Any recommendations ? Also, is there any risk to injecting botox in those areas, more specifically, permanent paralysis, loss of function, hitting a major vein/artery like carotid artery? I want slimmer neck/shoulders, arms, and calves, but don't want permanent damage. Other than Botox, are there other alternatives?
MTF trans woman here and I have always hated my muscular build. I heard that Botox can help reduce the appearance of muscles and that it has been used to reduce calf, bicep, deltoid muscles. Wondering how safe it is (esp in deltoid since its close to carotid arteries). Any other options?
My calf muscles seem very unproprtional to my body. I have skinny legs but my calves bulge out and look very awkward. I use to play a lot of sports as a kid but it also may be genetics. Im not too active anymore but my calves are really defined and big (around 13) and Im pretty short. If I get Botox on my calves how many units would be needed? And how long would it be until I see results.Do you even think Botox would help me get a more feminine appearance?
For as long as I can remember, I always felt extremely insecure walking toward/in front of people wearing leggings or tight jeans because I have bad false curvature. I have bad genetics, so my calves just won't grow, I train them too. I tried looking up on the internet if it is possible to enhance the size of calves, specifically inner calves, but all I see is reduction. So I could not find an answer. Is it possible to inject botox to inner calves to mask false curvature? Thank you.
Ive been wanting to target my trapezius, latissimus, forearms and calves with botox injections and was wondering if injecting all at once would be too toxic? Several doctors have told me all the areas combined would be units. If I inject every 6 months over the course of a year or two will it atrophy those areas? I wanted to get my outer obliques done too. Would that potentially create too much laxity in the muscles and add additional bulging?
I have 16 calves and they do not protrude from the back; instead they curve to the inner side and look massive. I despise them and cant wear shorts or dresses. They look about the same size as my thighs. Im interested in doing something minimally invasive like Botox or other injections to make them appear smaller. Is there anything that can be done without major surgery? I am currently losing weight and they just appear larger every week. Help!!!
Hi, I am looking for an option for calf reduction. Im not a candidate for liposuction, I havent exercice to have these muscle, it is a genetic problem (thanks to my father) that do not match my normal and feminine upper body. If Botox is injected by a board cettified surgeon, is it safe? Is there a higher risk of toxicity considering the amount of units that need to be use? Will I still be able to walk, jump normally (with less power)? After multiple injections, is there permanent results. Thanks!
I am 5'2, 105 lbs, I am tiny. However, I have extremely muscular calves, and I have consulted more than one doctor, they suggest that I might need more botox than 100 units....given the severity, but suggested me to start with 100 units each leg. Now that I have injected 100 units each leg, I would like to know, if I need more botox, when can I add? And how much can I add?
