When can I inject more Botox into my calves if 100u each leg wasn't enough? (Photo)

Question

I am 5'2, 105 lbs, I am tiny. However, I have extremely muscular calves, and I have consulted more than one doctor, they suggest that I might need more botox than 100 units....given the severity, but suggested me to start with 100 units each leg. Now that I have injected 100 units each leg, I would like to know, if I need more botox, when can I add? And how much can I add?

I would recommend waiting at least 2 weeks to see the full effects of your botox treatment before considering additional treatments.  You will likely need less in the second session.

You don't say how long it has been for your injection. Give it at least 2 weeks and then if you still have issues you can certainly be injected again

I rather routinely use botox for calf reduction in my practice. You should not need more than 100 units per leg. The results should easily last you approximately 6 months and I'm sure that in the hands of an experienced injector you will be extremely pleased with your results. The full effect of the injection occurs up to six days from treatment, and most patients return for repeat treatment between 4 and 6 months after the initial injections.  Given the unique nature of your situation, I would recommend consulting with a board-certified physician to explore all the options available to you.
