Botox to slim arms, shoulders, calves, is this an option? Are there alternatives?

I have large shoulders, biceps, and calves. I read that Botox can be a good means to reduce their size, but I am struggling to find a trustworthy doctor to go to. Any recommendations ? Also, is there any risk to injecting botox in those areas, more specifically, permanent paralysis, loss of function, hitting a major vein/artery like carotid artery? I want slimmer neck/shoulders, arms, and calves, but don't want permanent damage. Other than Botox, are there other alternatives?

Hitting a major artery or vein, such as the carotid, is highly unlikely if the procedure is performed by a skilled injector, and there is no risk of permanent paralysis when Botox is correctly administered. Botox is often used to slim the masseter muscles and contour the jawline.  Injecting larger muscles would require a lot of product and would only give temporary effects so it is not the best choice for your concerns. I encourage you to visit with a board certified plastic surgeon near you for an evaluation of your concerns.
