Hi, I am looking for an option for calf reduction. Im not a candidate for liposuction, I haven’t exercice to have these muscle, it is a genetic problem (thanks to my father) that do not match my normal and feminine upper body. If Botox is injected by a board cettified surgeon, is it safe? Is there a higher risk of toxicity considering the amount of units that need to be use? Will I still be able to walk, jump normally (with less power)? After multiple injections, is there permanent results. Thanks!

Answer: Calf reduction and HiDef Lipo I think that Botox could work for your calf reduction. However, Botox only work on muscles. To get a more defined lower legs, you may benefit from HiDef Liposuction. Best wishes.

Answer: BOTOX for calf reduction you are a perfect candidate for calf reduction using Botox injections. Since I have been performing this procedure for more than 20 years I have found it to be safe, reliable and consistently producing excellent results. You actually do not need a large amount of Botox, normally 50 units per leg will do the trick. You do need to see someone who's comfortable in performing this procedure ( usually a plastic surgeon like myself). You should be able to walk absolutely normally and noticed the results within two weeks. The procedure should be repeated approximately every 6 months. Good luck from New York City
