I am interested in Botox and possibly filler. Before I scheduled I checked with the dermatologists office and they said they would ask and schedule if it was okay but I thought I would ask. Ive been in remission since 2012 - Im not on any medications, I only get Rituxan infusions about every 6 months. I also have subglottic stenosis from the Wegener's but that is managed with steroid injections into the airway. Thank you for your help!
I keep reading if you have a muscle disorder or autoimmune disease you should not get Botox or Dysport. Can someone explain to me why? If it stays local in the muscle being treated, how could it or would it interact with any underlying condition? Does this mean it spreads beyond injection site?
My platelets for the past several years have been in the normal range. I would like to get botox in my face to lessen wrinkles in my forehead, mainly the 11 frown wrinkles. I am also interested in doing lip fillers. Thanks for your help!

I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's thyroiditis last July. Since then, I have been on Plaquenil with good results. I have Juvederm and Restylane in my face, but I would like to add some Botox, just for crows feet. Is this considered safe with the recent autoimmune diagnosis? Thank you
I receive monthly IVIG infusions for an autoimmune disease. Can anyone tell me if this will have any impact on the Botox/Xeomin or dermal fillers I periodically receive (for instance, might these products not being as long lasting with the IVIG)?
