Can I have Botox and possibly filler if I have Wegener's granulomatosis?

I am interested in Botox and possibly filler. Before I scheduled I checked with the dermatologist’s office and they said they would ask and schedule if it was okay but I thought I would ask. I’ve been in “remission” since 2012 - I’m not on any medications, I only get Rituxan infusions about every 6 months. I also have subglottic stenosis from the Wegener's but that is managed with steroid injections into the airway. Thank you for your help!

Hello, thank you for your question. With most autoimmune diseases you can do Botox and filler with no worries at all. Definitely seek out a board certified dermatologist or injector with appropriate training. Tell them what autoimmune disease specifically and if you have had any complications at all. Your overall general health will be taken into account.
