Hi, so i have had 2 courses of Accutane now complete 6 month courses each. Whilst on them all acne on my scalp dissapeared and felt way more confident. Now that im off accutane for around 2 months my scalp stayed clear, now iv started getting spots all around my scalp. On top under my hair, and on the sides and back, some small pimples and a few big Zits. Im a 22 yr old Male with Short hair. Is it fungal/bacterial? tried all OTC i can think of, what do i do/take now? Thought accutane would work.
Hi There, i have pllar cyst on my scalp. I am 83kgs and using 20mg/p isotretinoin per day. It is qlmost 2 mnths now but my cyst feel bigger and sore now. I am really wondering accutane will heal the bump?. Do i need to increse my dosage per day? Is it toi earrly ti expect improvent after 2 months? Realy appreciate if anyone asnwers. Thanks in advance.
Im 24 and have been dealing with what I would consider mild acne since my mid teens. Ive just switched to a new dermatologist since my old one retired. Prior to this derm, Ive used differin, benzoyl peroxide, and duac spot treatment, which generally helped. I even did a stint on doxycycline. But when I turned 23 my acne came back and nothing works. This is the worst its ever been. Forehead, shoulders, even scalp and scalp line. Im just unsure if accutane is worth the risks?
Hi, I am a 34 year old male who never had bad acne or oily skin. About six months ago, I started having very oily hair and face, mild to moderate scalp acne, and seborrhea (scaliness in my eyebrows and t-zone). I weigh 75kg and was prescribed 40mg of Accutane for 30 days. My question is, is this amount sufficient for a long term cure? Thank you
I am 3 months off of accutane. My hair was incredibly healthy on accutane, not dry, it was long and beautiful. But a few weeks ago I noticed a lot of hair loss in the shower. I hadn't changed my hair products, I was concerned but brushed it off. Hair loss continued so I cut my hair short. My scalp began to become tingly and the hair loss persisted. I now have a few thin/bald spots. I am active, healthy, have NO history of hairloss, not even men in my family. Why would this be happening?
