I am a 26 year old female. My husband has been fixed. And we havent been sexually active in over a month due to the fact I dont know whats happening with my period. I have a regular menstral cycle. I am on 60mg of accutane. I am not pregnant. I am almost 2 months with no period. What could be going on? I should also mention my good cholesterol has been increasing for some time now. My last blood test showed my Hdl to be 9.6 and my alannine transfosferate to be 40. Would that play any factor
I took lab tests for my accutane prescription and my Co2 came back 1 point less than the reference bracket. 19 L. I have a major fear of needles and blood so during my blood draw, I was breathing heavy with anxiety and almost passed out. I wonder if this could take an effect on my CO2 levels or if I need to have a cause of concern for a more serious condition. It might be important to add that I am not prediabetic nor diabetic.
I recently did a blood test at my local doctors and my testosterone came back fine as well as my triglycerides and HDL but my total cholesterol came back just slightly above average and same for my LDL, how much can you go over before being denied Accutane?
I've been on isotretinoin for almost 2 months and my acne has cleared up significantly during this time. I just got my results of my second blood test though and my liver enzymes have drastically elevated - ALT 129 and AST 72. I'm seeing my doctor next week but till then, I'm wondering how worried I should be? Also, I had a terrible bout of stomach flu one week before my blood test. Would that have had affect?
