Accutane: Will one drink mess up Accutane blood test?

Question

I'm going out with a friend for her birthday on Saturday and have an accutane blood test/urine test Monday afternoon. Will 1-2 drinks (max) affect my liver enzyme levels? I'm not a heavy drinker & only drink occasionally

Accutane is processed through the liver and can cause an elevation in liver enzyme levels. It is, therefore, important not to take other medications that can also affect liver function such as frequent or high doses of acetominophen (Tylenol). In addition, it is important that you refrain from drinking alcohol regularly or drinking in excess, even infrequently. That said, if you have 1-2 drinks on one occasion, a healthy liver should be able to detoxify itself without any resulting increase in liver enzyme levels. If, for some reason your tests do come back abnormal, just repeat them again in 1-2 weeks and I am certain that they would return back to normal.
