ALT and AST level elevated while on isotretinoin. Should I be worried?

I've been on isotretinoin for almost 2 months and my acne has cleared up significantly during this time. I just got my results of my second blood test though and my liver enzymes have drastically elevated - ALT 129 and AST 72. I'm seeing my doctor next week but till then, I'm wondering how worried I should be? Also, I had a terrible bout of stomach flu one week before my blood test. Would that have had affect?

If you missed isotretinoin for 3 days, you don't need to worry.  Just resume your normal schedule.  You don't need to catch up.

Females must wait at least 30 days after your last dose of isotretinoin before attempting to become pregnant. Males must wait at least 30 days from their last dose before attempting to get a female pregnant. Discuss with your doctor your plans for pregnancy!

I wouldn't use the pore strips while on accutane as it is possible they could actually harm the area.  Accutane really makes your face sensitive and this could be something that is bad if you try to use the strips.  Good luck!
