Is laparoscopic repair less efficient than traditional diastasis recti repair?

My background is general surgery with a concentration in hernia repair that then transitioned to cosmetic surgery. I think a robotic repair done in experienced hands would be great. My suggestion is to ask the surgeon how man of these surgeries he does in a 6 month time. It should be at least average 1 a month. If less than that i would seek out second opinions with other robotics surgeons that focus on abdominal wall hernia surgery.
