I got my procedure done may 9th my issue is that I had was that at the top my ears were pointed like a elf but now that I have all my stitches out it seems like it's slowly reverting to how it use to look and it's frustrating because I did everything I was told it seemed like when I would take off my headband 10-15 min later they would stick out a little and now it's looks like it's sticking out a little bit more and I'm just really frustrated with it all like I know it takes time for the healing process

If you pin your ear further back it will look over done. Start looking at normal ears and you will realize that your ear is at the normal level. However if it still bothers you then a revision Otoplasty can push it back furtherRegarsDr.J

Looking from the back, I see a very good ear-pinning result. Looking from the front, slightly more of the tips of the ears can be seen than of the remaining parts of the ears – this occurs often and is usually because the helix is often slightly more voluminous at the top than in the remaining areas, and the ear here is also often curved a little forwards and outwards like a shovel. All in all, you should be satisfied with this pinning result. However, the final result can be seen after 3 months, sometimes only after 6 months.

I would give your ears more time to heal. The swelling and healing will take months to settle out. In addition, the pictures you presented are difficult to judge. If possible please post pre-op photos to compare. Good luck,Dr. Dominic
