I have not heard of this procedure and I even tried searching for it online. I don't see the advantage of using the laser in otolplasty however.
I have not heard of this procedure. However I cannot imagine laser correcting the ears without any incision on the skin. It might be used after the skin has been excised to initiate the cartilage but that would be no different than using the blade or cautery.RegardsDr. J
There is non-incision otoplasty, with sutures that correct the ear are placed without making incision on the back of the ear. In experienced hands, it can work but if not done correctly, can be problematic
