I had a nipple sparing bilateral mastectomy. My right nipple became necrotic directly after and is now deformed and doesn’t match my left. I’m considering getting the nipples removed and having them tattooed on as I’ve seen some amazing 3D tattoo nipple reconstruction work recently. I’m wondering if there’s a surgery to fix my inverted right nipple to match my left somehow or if I should get them removed and tattooed on. My current plastic surgeon does not do nipple reconstruction for reference.
