Thanks for your question. Coolsculpting may not be the best treatment for apron fat. It is best for smaller fatty pockets. I would recommend a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss surgical options.
While cool sculpting can be helpful in reducing localized fat in the apron area of the lower abdomen, it is probably not the treatment of choice if you have a large apron, poor skin tone, lots of stretch marks, or excess skin in the area already. You really do need to go in to be assessed by an experienced plastic surgeon who can properly discuss the full range of surgical and nonsurgical options with you during an in person consultation.
Thank you for your question. It doesn't sound like you would be a good candidate for CoolSculpting. It works best on those with smaller areas of isolated, stubborn fat. It reduces about 20% of the fat in the treatment area. To address loose skin, you would most likely benefit most from a tummy tuck. Best of luck to you.
Possibly. You would really need to set up a consultation and be assessed to better answer your question. The lower abdomen is one of the most common areas treated with CoolSculpting, but if poor skin laxity (excess loose skin) is present then you might would benefit better from surgical intervention. If you CoolSculpt an area with a significant amount of loose skin you can enhance the loose skin and possibly create an even moreundesirable appearance. I would recommend scheduling a consultation with a practice that can discuss both CoolSculpting and surgical intervention options with you to help in making your decision.
Sorry, but coolsculpting will not work on an apron of fat. The device is designed to help flatten bulges and areas where fat can be pinched, but the skin is not loose( such as a "love handle"). An apron of fat hangs and the coolsculpting will not tighten the loose hanging tissue. You need a body contouring procedure to remove the fat apron.
If you are asking about the lower abdomen then yes it works for that area. For larger lower abdomen areas you would use a larger applicator but yes that area can be treated in an hour and then you can leave the office.
Thank you for this question. Many of the patients at my practice in California's Bay Area are interested in CoolSculpting to reduce fat in their upper arms. The procedure is cleared by the FDA for treatments that reduce fat in the abdomen, flanks, thighs, and under the chin. So treating the...
CoolSculpting can provide a 20-30% reduction in fat in the right candidate after one treatment, with final results usually being seen after about 3 months. The change will not be dramatic; rather, CoolSculpting provides subtle contouring of the body. Multiple treatments may be done in patients...
Thank you for your question, maryweems. Neither CoolSculpting nor SculpSure will cause arrhythmia. Both are safe, and I mention SculpSure because it is the only FDA-approved laser treatment for fat and - unlike competitors - is painless. SculpSure has defeated other competitors in all ...
There are many options for double chin/neck fat. I find that liposuction is best has the lowest downtime compared to kybella or coolmini. I suggest you see a physician who can consult you on all the treatment options. If you want contouring of the neck, there is no way any non...
Thanks for your question. My office had had great success with CoolSculpting for the arms. We use one CoolFit applicator on each arm. Depending on how much fat is in the area we may or may not treat twice. Best wishes.
