I have shadows, well, lines that runs from the nose and down, im only 25 but theyre more apparent than i want them to be. what does the lines called? is implant in this area in general safe? what would the complications be? is it possible to have the implant for a life time?

Fillers such as Juvederm are much better, especially at your age, for this area.  Implants can shift and as you age may seem in the "wrong" place.  Please consult an expert in facial injections in younger patients.  Best, Dr. Green

What's the difference? Those are all different terms for the same thing. The important thing to remember is that those nasolabial folds (The folds from the nose to the corner of the mouth)  are symptoms of volume loss in the midface.

In the early stages of this volume loss, direct placement of filler underneath the nasolabial folds will realize a significant improvement. However, as the volume loss progresses, in my opinion, the emphasis should be placed on replacing the volume that was lost. I recommend that you consult with an expert injector Plastic Surgeon.
