Hi , planning on having fillers for my marionette lines how much do I need and also which filler is long lasting . I have had radiesse done already for my forehead with botox .My results where great but some friends of mine suggest juvederm ,they say it is safe .Which do you recommend ?
Answer: Filler for marionette lines I would have to go with Dr. Reynolds and say that Radiesse is my most common go to filler for this problem. However, you have no photo attached so I might change my mind when seeing you. If you have severe volume loss I might recommend Sculptra and if you have very thin skin and very fine lines I might go with a softer filler like Restylane or Juvederm.

Answer: Which filler is longer lasting for correcting the marionette lines? There are a variety of fillers that can be used. Most of the common fillers used last approximately 1 year. Since you have had a good result with radiesse it can be safely used for correction of the marionette lines. All commonly used fillers are safe for injection in this location.

Answer: Fillers for marionette lines We have several options for fillers depending upon which area needs to be filled, desired longevity and cost.Radiesse, Juvederm and Sculptra are most commonly used. These vary from $350-950 per syringe/ bottle. If I had to pick my favorite for the marionette lines and nasolabial folds it would be Radiesse because it has 1.5 cc and lasts 1-1.5 years.Fat can be taken from one area and transferred elsewhere such as the buttocks. Total cost is $3200-3900 depending upon what is involved. This can be financed for $70/month.Botox or Xiomen can often complement fillers as well.Make sure you see someone experienced who is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Answer: Treatment of Marionette Lines. There are 2 ways to correct marionette lines. The traditional way until recently has been to inject those lines to lift them and eliminate them. Any filler will do this, but, the heavier the filler the better the depression is elevated. The best fillers for this are Juvederm Voluma and Radiesse as well as fat. If, however, there is a significant dermal line, this has to be filled with something that can be placed in the dermis itself, like Belotero. The second method is to place a filler like Juvederm Voluma, Radiesse or fat over the zygoma and malar area, the cheek bones, which lifts the lower facial tissues and, thus, reduces the marionette lines that are present due to descent of the cheek from deflation. In order to decide what you need, you need to see an expert injector with significant experience over a long time. They should also have been doing injection of the cheek for a long time. Many injectors are just learning this technique that is significantly more rejuvenating than just injecting the fold.

Answer: Fillers for marionette lines Marionette lines are the pesky line that form from the corners of your mouth down to your chin. In our practice we recommend hyaluronic acid fillers like Juvederm and Restylane. These are made from a natural skin substance and give great results. If you go to an experienced and skilled injector you are very likely to be happy with the result. In the unlikely event that you feel the treatment needs an adjustment, it can be all or partially dissolved in the office.
