Hello. About a year ago I did a beard transplant. The doctor told me it’s very easy and scarless procedure which is a lie. Now I’m left with terrible hyper-pigmentation, scars and butchered scalp. What can I do about hyper-pigmentation? I tried Fraxel, cosmelan but nothing seems to work. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

Answer: Beard transplant I see this commonly after beard transplants at novice clinics. Generally a skin lightening cream will help with the pigmentation but from experience correcting numerous similar patients your best bet is to either remove the hair through laser hair removal or extract them via FUE surgically.

Answer: Hyperpigmentation after hair transplant well it's very rare to get hyperpigmentation after hair transplants and keep in mind there is no su h thing as scar less in hair transplant... Try picosure laser....it's new technology to get rid of pigmentation...And also use 4% hydroquinone cream twice a day for few months... Last option is recycling of grafts with FUE....
