It is best to contact your doctor about post operative issues.  Rubbing your face should not be an issue after the wound has healed.

It is normal to shed transplanted hairs weeks after surgery.  The new hairs may take 6 to 12 months to grow.

Yes Minoxidil is safe for beard growth. Start with a low dose eg 1 mg daily and titrate upwards under the supervision of your hair restoration doctor. You may grow hair elsewhere also so get good advice first.
