Can I wear fake tan after IPL?

Can I do my IPL and then put fake tan on a day after then wash of the day I’m doing my IPL treatment? Thanks

You cannot have a fake tan present while you are doing IPL. After the procedure has been completed and your skin is completely reepithelialized, you can use the fake tan. It Takes approximately 7 days for the fake tan to disappear.

An IPL photofacial reaches down into the inner layers of your skin and also makes the surface more sensitive. Let your skin heal for at least a week after your final IPL treatment before attempting a fake tan.  Consulting a board-certified dermatologist will let you schedule your treatments so that they work with your other beauty needs.

Yes, however you need to wait for at least a week post treatment. Once the skin has healed and the darkened pigment has come off you can apply a tanner. If you plan on having multiple treatments 3-4 weeks apart you must wait until you are done with your series to apply a fake tan or get a real tan.

I would suspend using fake tan while on IPL treatment, that includes at least a week before and after you start and finish your IPL treatment.
