Between the two, a Vampire Facial is the best procedure for acne scarring. It involves microneedling followed by PRP. Overall, I recommend a procedure called Morpheus8 followed by PRP for acne scars as it combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy as well as PRP representing three different technologies for optimal results.

Thank you for your question, Acne scar treatment needs a combination approach for improvement. For the best results, one should target the acne scar type. As everyone has a unique pattern of acne scarring, the best solution is a tailored one. Typically you need fillers like bellafill and sculptra for atrophic indented type scars with or without subcision. Subcision for depressed tethered scars. Vascular lasers like yellow laser, aerolase, excel V or IPL for redness or thick scars. And lasers such as fraxel, erbium, co2 or fractional radiofrequency like venus viva, skinfinity, intensif or fractora microneedling RF for textural issues and superficial scarring. Deep ice pick scars and narrow box car scars are best treated with TCA CROSS and punch excision. All lasers are combined with microneedling and PRP to get even better results and improve healing times. The majority of patients will have a collection of different scar types, and hence a tailored treatment plan is needed by an expert physician. It is never about the laser or product that gives the results, its about the expert behind the equipment that gets you the outcome. You are better off with combination treatments that include vampire facial depending on the depth of the scar fillers might be a good idea and light therapy.

We usually recommend the Vampire facial for treating acne scarring. Combining microneedling and topical PRP, the Vampire facial is best for addressing texture issues like oversized pores, rough textures, and wrinkles, to restore smooth skin (whereas the facelift focuses on restoring volume and shape). More extensive scarring and indentations may also benefit from a more tailored PRP treatment or a Vampire facial that’s combined with or followed by supporting treatments.

Absolutely, you want the Vampire Facial!! The Vampire Facial addresses tone and texture of the skin....including acne scarring.  The Vampire FaceLift procedure addresses the shape of the face.  The Vampire FaceLift can be used instead of injected volumizers of the face.  
Often, people want both improvement in the shape of their face (to reduce face hollows under the eyes, for instance) AND improvement in the facial skin texture and tone/ pigment irregularities and scars.  For those people, a Vampire FaceLift AND Vampire Facial, often done at the same session, is indicated.

Thank you for your question. The Vampire face lift uses , typically, Fillers to enhance the shape of the structures targeted. The Vampire facial is mostly micro-needling and a few injections of PRP if needed. In our practice we have successfully used PRP with TCA CROSS , a procedure using 90% TCA which removes the layers of dead cells. I believe this a promising approach that is reasonable based on your presenting signs and pictures.You may need 5-6 treatments but, I believe you will be very happy with the results.

You will not have to make that decision on your own.  That is the purpose of a consultation with a trained and experienced physician who can examine you and make a recommendation based on several factors.  You may not wish to limit your choices to Vampire Facial and Vampire Facelift.  There are also other procedures to consider and skin care. Vampire Facial is more for texture and Vampire Facelift adds volume with some improvement in texture.  It would take a number of microneedling treatments to effect significant change in the scars.  The recommended number is 6-8.  Hope this helps. 

You can benefit from vampire facial first to thin out the scar tissues, after three treatments at six weeks intervals, after evaluation you may need a filler or a vampire facelift to lift the indentations to even the skin margins. I hope this helps.
