What’s the difference between a Vampire Facial and a Vampire Facelift? Also, would you recommend a Vampire procedure or Ultherapy for an aging, saggy neck? Trying to avoid the expense and recovery of a surgical procedure
Answer: Difference between a Vampire Facial and a Vampire Facelift Hi, the Vampire Facial is a great treatment that combines micro needling with PRP for skin texture pigmentation and overall condition. The Vampire Facelift uses a dermal filler combined with PRP to create volume and a lift. This also helps with the skin surface. These treatments are not intended to create skin tightening but works very well in conjunctions with skin tightening treatments like Ultherapy or Thermitight.

Answer: Vampire Facial vs Vampire Facelift A Vampire Facial is medical microneedling followed by application of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) both on top of the skin and injected into the skin to provide regeneration of the full thickness collagen layer. For those with more volume loss, a Vampire Facelift would be a better choice. This involves the placement of at least one syringe of filler in addition to the medical microneedling and application of PRP onto and injection under the skin. The PRP superboosts the filler so it can be used more sparingly while still replacing volume. The results on both procedures are incredible improvement to the skin's texture, collagen health, and overall skin tone. In the case of the Vampire Facelift, the volume is also significantly improved.Vampire procedures are a brand name of PRP microneedling facials and PRP microneedling facelifts.

Answer: Ultherapy Non-Surgical Ultrasound Skin Tightening -- add Lasers, Radiofrequency, Sculptra, Microneedling/PRP A combination approach would give the most improvement with Ultherapy for neck skin tightening. I recommend Ultherapy with radiofrequency treatments, lasers, microneedling/PRP, and/or Sculptra to get increased collagen, tightening and improved skin tone. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Difference between Vampire Facelift and Vampire Facial Good morning and thank you for your question. Vampire facelift involves the injection of activated PRP's and a small amount of filler. Vampire Facial involves the topical application of PRP's on the skin while using a microneedling device. The Facelift treats deeper structures of the skin and improves volume as well as skin quality. The Facial is more effective superficially on the skin treating pores, scars, fine lines or hyperpigmentation. As far as choosing the best treatment for your neck, each patient is different. It is better to discuss with the provider what works best in your case. Vampire procedures are "restoration procedures" while “Ultherapy” would tighten or more descriptively "contract” your skin structures. I hope this was helpful and good luck from Westchester County, New York! Oxana Popescu MD
