Is the prednisone short term therapy or is there a plan to transition to another medication long term? Prednisone causes water retention, so if there are areas of seemingly unwanted fat I would check with your rheumatologist to see if there is an alternative medication or to decrease the dose. It’s possible you will lose water weight and then I would reassess areas you want to contour. If these areas resolve or improve enough on their own then you will have saved money from CoolSculpting!
