I had a tummy tuck over ten years ago and now considering a BBL. I'm worried about the fat transfer, will it be enough or has the stomach already been compromised?
Answer: BBL after tummy tuck It is possible to perform a BBL after a tummy tuck. It is difficult to know if you are a candidate without photos. The best way to know if you are a candidate for the procedure is to see a plastic surgeon who specializes in gluteal shaping for an in person consultation. Best wishes.

CONTACT NOW Answer: BBL after a Tummy Tuck 10 years ago. Hello dear!! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. Unfortunately, without pictures, it is very difficult to give you a proper answer. In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 30 or less. l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know. Good luck :)

Answer: BBL after a Tummy Tuck 10 years ago......will there be enough? Without the benefit of photos it's impossible to give you an accurate assessment. The mere fact that you had a previous tummy tuck does not preclude a fat transfer. There are multiple areas that can be utilized to obtain donor fat.......hips, flanks, abdomen, thighs, upper arms. The key is............ does the surgeon have a keen sense of aesthetics? Can he/she create a shapely, attractive buttock or are they just technicians that wind up with large unshapely behinds? The same holds true for the liposuction portion of the procedure. Understand that liposuction whether SAL, PAL or UAL ( not including LAL because the fat obtained through this technique will not be useful) is not that technically challenging. However, the keen aesthetic eye will determine the eventual work of art.We are creators and have the ability to turn out beautiful works of art. Simply put................not all artists create quality work.Always seek out the opinion of a surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery with years of experience in liposuction and fat transfers. Furthermore request to see before and after photos of previous patients by that doctor....not a clinic or surgery center. Do your homework......research and verify the doctor's credentials. Good luck, Dr. PG

Answer: BBL after a Tummy Tuck 10 years ago. You may be a very good candidate, but I would have to see pictures or examine you to make a determination. I would search for the surgeon who you feel is most likely to give you the best results. Look at reviews and before and after pictures on that surgeon's website. Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
