Thank you for sharing your question and photograph. I think you can address all of your concerns with careful placement of a thicker hyaluronic acid - like Juvederm Ultra Plus - into your lip tissues. Not only with the HA supply additional volume but the thicker nature will afford greater lift. Be sure to see an ASPS board certified plastic surgeon in consultation.
Many people have a symmetric lips. Just like many parts of the body no two parts identical. They are not twins they are sisters! Asymmetric Lips may be corrected using any of a variety of fillers. These include volbella, juvederm or restylane. Lip augmentation can also be done with fat injections. I don't like to do fat injections in the lip because they may create more asymmetry. When you decide to do this make sure you find an expert injector.
black415. Your asymmetry is minimal, so correction must be done with great care because your lips are quite attractive. I recommend correction with a filler like Juvederm Ultra plus by an experienced injector very conservatively because over correction will cause another asymmetry. If you like the result, then you can consider fat transfer for a longer lasting result. Seek out a board certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist with lots of experience treating lips. Good luck!
Hi and thank you for sharing your question and picture. You do have beautiful lips and any unevenness can be best corrected with some hyaluronic acid-based fillers such as Voluma. Please make sure to work with a experienced physician. I hope it helps and good luck!
Great question. I always believe if you really have an issue with something go get an opinion. Dermal fillers are a great option. You may not get perfect symmetry ( no one has perfect symmetry) but you will be close. If any of your friends have had filler and you like the results then you should make an appointment for at least a consult.thank you for your question
Many women are bothered by asymmetry of their lips, so you are not alone in this. I would recommend a consultation with a physician who specializes in medical aesthetics and, especially, in administering fillers. I prefer fillers which are made from hyaluronic acid (HA), especially in the lips. HA fillers look and feel very natural and can produce beautiful results. They usually last 10-12 months in this area. There are multiple options for HA fillers, all of which are good. Your injector can advise you as to which they prefer. Best of luck to you.
You barely have asymmetry. I would consider small amounts of volbella to correct the lip side that is smaller.
Fillers, such as Juvederm, are great options to thicken thin lips and correct asymmetry. A conservative approach is best so as to not overcorrect. They last approximately 6 months, so after trying, perhaps a longer-term filler versus nanofat may give you a more lasting result if you like the results.
Thanks for the great question. You should be able to achieve better lip symmetry with use of HA fillers. You do have good lip volume but just need a little more lip height on your smaller side. Even with fillers you may still be a little asymmetric, but it should be less noticeable. Find an experienced injector in your area as fixing this asymmetry can sometimes be tricky. Best of luck!~Dr. Sieber
You can get asymmetric lips closer to being equal using HA fillers. It takes an experienced injector to get this right. I think your lips are fairly volumized, so I wouldn't get too much placed in them. I would expect that things will be better but not exactly symmetric.
