I was recently diagnosed with tarsal tunnel in the same leg and have been going through sclerotherapy recently. I finished my 2nd round of it. I had reflux in both legs, and after the 1st treatment, more reflux was uncovered in the left leg. I have one more appointment to see if anything else has been uncovered, that would require more treatments. I'm concerned with how safe it is to have so much treatments. I feel certain areas need more attention. Like my left foot.

If you were born with this condition, then this needs more detailed examination and study to make sure this is not an Arterio-Venous Malformation

Thank you for your question and the picture.This is a congenital malformation as it was present at birth. It requires a venoogram and or arteriogram depending on clinical in person examination findings.You need to see an interventional radiologist. BestDr. Karamanoukian

Your picture shows varicose veins of the foot and spider and reticular veins of your leg.  Since reflux has been proven, the treatment would be closure of the refluxing valves followed by treating the varicose veins with either removal through small incisions or sclerotherapy and sclerotherapy for the spider veins.  This treatment should not affect tarsal tunnel.  See a vein specialist.
