The best option for you is to find a board certified facial plastic surgeon that dedicates his/her entire practice to Scarless Nose Rhinoplasty's. With a closed rhinoplasty you can achieve any look that you desire without the risk of a scar at the bottom of your nose. I recommend going to a Plastic Surgeon that specializes in Closed Scarless Rhinoplasty (preferred by actresses and celebrities) because there is no risk of external scarring and much less healing and recovery time. Closed rhinoplasty enables you to have flash recovery with very minimal bruising if at all. You will only have to wear a cast for 5-7 days, no one will know you had anything done. All the incisions are made from inside the nose. The goal is to finesse and enhance the nose without drastic change. It still looks like it is your nose just more refined without looking fake. Meaningful refinement is the key!  All the same surgical maneuvers your nose requires can be performed with a skilled Closed Scarless surgeon.

Hello,Thank you for your question. Based on your photos your nose can be straightened, the dorsal hump removed, the tip refined and the projection can be shortened. If there are breathing issues they can be fixed as well. Your goals are achievable in right hands by the help of the Closed and Atraumatic Technique in Rhinoplasty. It minimizes swelling and bruises, maximizes healing, prevents tissue damage and eliminates a scar on the columella. It appears that your goals are realistic and you would benefit from a rhinoplasty. Photo morphing software is a terrific tool that you and your surgeon can use to communicate your expectations and what the surgeon believes he or she can achieve. Your skin is on the thicker side so the nose shouldn't be made too small, otherwise the skin can sag. An experienced surgeon will be able to change the shape of your nose while preserving appropriate structure to prevent this from happening. Best of luck!

The digitally altered photographs do appear realistic, but it's important to communicate your goals with your rhinoplasty surgeon. Rhinoplasty is an extremely difficult procedure, so choose your surgeon wisely based on extensive experience. A closed rhinoplasty can accomplish straightening the nose, decreasing the overall projection of it, and shaving down the dorsal hump with all the incisions placed on the inside of it. There are different techniques one can use to perform a nose job. As a former art student, from the LA County Museum of Art I like to use advanced suturing techniques, with or without cartilage grafts, in order to refine the nasal tip. One can elevate the tip of the nose by changing the caudal septal angle. There are different techniques that can be used to straighten the nose including altering the septum with or without suturing techniques and or cartilage grafts. I incorporate the FINNESSE technique, witch I invented. I typically do not pack the nose. Bruising and recovery are minimal when compared to traditional techniques. Dear Mintberrycrunch, I would say that your morphed images are very attainable. While one of the images appears a little over projected and one to shortened and slightly rotated I think you have a good idea of what can be attained with rhinoplasty surgery. I would not be concerned with your skin thickness you should have plenty of refinement with a pleasing result. Seek some consultations with experts in the field and have imaging performed  to see the proposed changes rhinoplasty would provide for you.  The imaging would take into account your nasal anatomy and skin thickness to give you a realistic proposed result. Then review the surgeons before and after photographs especially of noses similar to your own to ensure expertise and natural looking male rhinoplasty results.
